How Does a Cell Phone Work?
Wireless telephones / Cell Phones / Mobile Phones are hand-held phones with built-in antennas, often called cell, mobile, or PCS phones. These phones are popular with callers because they can be carried easily from place to place.
Wireless telephones are two-way radios. When you talk into a wireless telephone, it picks up your voice and converts the sound to radio frequency energy (or radio waves). The radio waves travel through the air until they reach a receiver at a nearby base station. The base station then sends your call through the telephone network until it reaches the person you are calling.
When you receive a call on your wireless telephone, the message travels through the telephone network until it reaches a base station close to your wireless phone. Then the base station sends out radio waves that are detected by a receiver in your telephone, where the signals are changed back into the sound of a voice.
Antennasa conductor by which electromagnetic waves are sent out or received, consisting commonly of a wire or set of wires

1.Yes of course, I will. I will buy an iPhone because it has many functions and cool apps which can help me in my life. For example, it has so good app like “Apps for cooks”. I like to listen music and by iPhone I can do it every time when I want. 2.I would buy other mobile with “Touch keypad” and functions like iPhone and big flash card for films and music. 3.I think for me it’s a status symbol also. I like comfortable and multifunctional telephones but they must be beautiful and modern. But there is one problem for me. The keypad is small and difficult to write a message. 4.It seems to me that she was calling to her friend or Mom and telling about her feels. 5.Maybe she says: “I’m so happy!” 6.I would call to my ex.
By Mark:It's so expensive for me. However, for someone who use it everyday in all function, it might be wealth to but it.
By Ekieen:1. Off course i'll buy the iPhone if i can afford it! 2. Well, if $599 convert to my country's currency, that will be a lot! I will save a bit more and buy.... a laptop! 3.For me, it is not just a phone, it is more than that. You can do a lot of things with one gadget.
By fathy aulina:yes i would buy it, specially the 3G one. because i need it for supporting my job and task and it synchronize with macbook. but now i don't have that amount of money. and for me there were others more important priority than iphone to buy. and i think there's a weakness in iphone that the 'touch' keypad is to small and difficult to write a message or maybe because i don't get use to it.
