Hallo everybody and wellcome to privateenglishportal.com and my name is Steve and you´ve came to the english business question of the week nine. My video this week is for my business english still from Portugal Paulo and we will now be going over some of vocabulary which came up during our class on globalisation. The world rums over again begin infrastructure issues, profitability well for benefits and lastly flight of capitol. Now you will recall Paulo that infrastructure meant in the contect of globalisation basic facities and services of a country for exemple water, power and roads. The second one is issues and issues of course is just another formel way in business english of talking about important subjects and that people discuss issues and I believe the British say „issues“ and the Americans say „issues“. the two pronunciation varians. On the next one is profitability and you´ll notice that the stress of the word is on profitability we have you profitability is the abiltiy of a business to make money. So this is a definitively another key factor when we are taking about globalisatiion. The next one is wellfare benefits, what are wellfare benefits? They are money which is paid by the government to people in need for exemple by unempoyed. The last one that we talked about during our class on globalisation was flight of capital and what is „flight of capital“? it is a moovement of large sums of money out of a country so than can happen of course when the businesses that were set up in that country and suddenly close perhaps they move to
another country and as they move to another country so that capital. So Paulo I hope that will help you to remember those five key words when we´re taking an globalisation into account and I look forward to answering my next business English question, business English question number ten and it will be next week. You have a great week, bye bye
