Welcome to Las Vegas.
Behind me is the world famous Flamingo hotel and casino built in 1945 by gangster B…C… Flamingo is the first hotel and casino of its kind.
But since then, more and more colorful and exciting hotels and casinos opened their doors in the city.
Now Las Vegas is just as famous for its hotels as is for its gambling.
As you can see, Las Vegas has several huge hotels including the MGM grand hotel and theme park, which opened in 1993 as the largest hotel in the world.
These hotels and resorts play a vital role attracting more than 29 million guests to the city each year.






What do you see the business trend in this town right now with all the mega resorts?





I think that for too long, Las Vegas has been seen as a kind of a bargain…a bargain town, well, it’s kind of value driven.
You can come here, and you get the cheap hotel.
I think in the course of the last couple years, there has been effort to spearhead toward really the upper-classed, really the high-end of the market place.
I think the projects like Bellagio, projects like Mandalay
Bay, and of course the Venetian, are tapping into that new market.
Well, we believe that this town has enough attraction value by bringing in the top restaurants, by bringing in the top retail, places you’ll find again in the Beverly Hill and in

Fifth Avenue
, relocating all that experiences into this incredible desert landscape.
And we think the town as a whole now can compete with your traditional resort communities, resorts that you’ll find in Palm Springs.
We feel we have best interest in tapping into the new market, we think that we’ll be successful at it.

,we were out in a few last night are new and then went back over .(decades suppose be according to the context)... you understand .you could the the .. buildings and high ceiling place like the (indonesian?) versus what was mordern the state of art
several years ago and get the lower ceiling just like older homes. so it's changed a lot
