Ok this is the fifteen sounds ."It sounds like". We're gonna get through all fifteen sounds . What you see here , all of these sounds up here can be summarized in fourteen boxes and this line down here at the bottom.. Ok Let's get started. So we're calling this The Fifteen Sounds. First thing to look at is that we have something called Day, Plane ,Rain, Eight. OK, that's one sound. Then we have: See, Pete, Sea, Eat. There's another sound:Bite and Night. OK.That's number three. The fourth one: Go, Show, Hope, Note, Bowl and Throat .Th, r, o, t That's four sounds there.Th r o t. And the o is always together.Right.o Two parts.
We have a long u sound uuuu. These first long sounds a,e, i, o, u,we call the long sounds: Cute, Moon, You, Two, Shoe, Blue, Smooth, Food and True. Now something you might remember is that here, this has a little bit of an i Cute, like /ju/ /ju/ Moon, Two, Blue,Shoe, Smoth, True and Food. Some people say New York, others say New York. There's a little i sound.New, New, New York. In addition, there are their short sounds.Ok. Let's look at the short sounds
