The BBC websites are good for listening to English. You can download radio programmes and listen to them several times
http://www.bbc.co.uk/
If you look at the top of this webpage you will find that you can select a UK version or an International Version. Look on the international version; there are many different things for learning English including a site for questions about grammar. On this page
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/
you can find radio programmes that interest you and listen to the pronunciation and intonation; the ‘tune’ of English as spoken by the British.
It may also help you to read or listen to World news programs since some of the news stories will be a little familiar from hearing them already in your native language.
The BBC has news on this website
http://news.bbc.co.uk/
You can search for news about particular topics that interest you,
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6762901.stm
or click on the icon and LISTEN to the news or watch video clips
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/video_and_audio/default.stm
Other websites with good news items are those for the British newspapers
This site has links to all the British newspapers and many other news sites.

There are several websites where you can download vocabulary lists (some of these include sound files so that you can hear how to pronounce the words.

There are also sites where you can find someone to learn with, or a native speaker who wants to learn your own native language so you can teach each other, or even a teacher that you can pay to teach you online. Some of these sites also have teaching and learning materials on them.

There are also many skypecasts where people who are learning English chat with native speakers to improve their pronunciation and their understanding of spoken English. You can find those currently happening at

You can find other things to help you by searching on www.google.co.uk
