While working I listen to a lot of music, especially Rock and Jazz. My favourite artistes include Ian McNabb, Elbow, Rory Gallagher, Kate Bush, Bruce Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode and Guns n’Roses.

I have large DVD collection so at the end of a hard week, or even an easy one, I like relaxing on my sofa with a good beer and a good film. My favourite films include - The Long Good Friday, Trainspotting, Bird, Educating Rita, Gosford Park, Star Trek, The Italian Job, The Wall.

My post-work entertainment is not limited to moving pictures. I also enjoy reading – my favourite topics being social history, the development and use of language, and studying human behaviour. I also like cooking.

Travel is one of my biggest pleasures. Recently I have been to Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Morocco and Thailand.

11 years teaching adults general and business English. The past 3 years I have been teaching only on-line.
