Description: Philosophy Club is a place where people can get together and discuss issues ranging from existentialism to the situation in the Middle East. Philosophy Club provides a forum for the free expression of thought and speech. Why do we do what we do? I am interested in philosophy because it provides me with opportunities to meet new and interesting people and talk about current issues in our society while tackling questions that people have been attempting to answer for centuries, such as what is the good life? What is right? What is wrong? Is there a difference or is it all just relative to your culture or geography? What is the nature of the universe? What is time? Is there life after death? What is death? Why ask why? The question drives me. Who am I? What do I mean when I use the word I? Some people consider these questions silly and of no importance. The philosopher considers these questions to be of the utmost significance not because they can be answered we consider the journey to be much more important than the destination.
