I prefer rap, It's may hard for new learner, but if you keep singing, you will see the rewarding!

My problems with rap is the crude language. Our class is in a church building and many people who come to class do not want to have to listen to songs that say "shit" in them. Also beginners want to be able to distinguish the words that they can use with employers and with girlfriends (though, I would argue that they would do better not saying "shit" with the one they love as well)
