For example I am cuban. About my country I can that it is an island located behind USA in the Caribbean Sea. The language is spanish. It is a socialistic republic, it is quite different from capitalism, because there no exist private properties, all belong to the goverment. The education is free and the assistencial in the hospitals too. All that is statistic information, but now what I can say about my country?, well the people are magnific very solidareties and friendly. The wages that the proffetionals earn is very slow that is why most of the people emigrate in order to have a better life. Most of those imigrants life in USA, in Miami, and others in Spain, or Venezuela, Mexico, etc.. All the students have to use uniforms at school. The principal transportation is buses, and just few people have cars, and most of those cases the cars belong to their work center. The cubans don't have access to the internet, just some the foreigns and journalist. The doctors also have access but limited is just to Infomed, which is a web of medical information.
Well for now I think is enogh that information, if someone have any question please don't hesitate in ask me, will be a pleasure for me inform others about cuba and cubans.
I HOPE SEE OTHERS REPLY OF YOUR COUNTRIES.
Regards.

Well, hello first. My name is Safo. I am from Djibouti. It is a very small country in the Horn of Africa. It is near the Red Sea.
We have French and Arabic as official languages, whereas Afar and Somali are local languages. Djiboutians are very nice and friendly especially with the foreigners. And I don't say that because I am proud of my country but it is the truth, the only truth, and nothing but the truth. Djibouti is a young Republic because we had our independance in 1977. It is very hot from May to September and fresh the rest of the year. What else to say? Really don't know. So if I forgot something, you can always ask me, so welcome to all your questions. Hope to read you soon.
Au revoir, Goodbye, Salam ...

My country is unique for having 1,107 islands. It was once called the Pearl of the Orient Seas. It was once the abode of some rare sea creatures and once known for it's beautiful coral reefs. One of it's northern attraction is the rice terraces which was once known as listed in the world's 10 wonders.

Today, it's known by tourist by it's famous Boracay beach. Aside from that, it is known for some violent insurgents.

I'm from the Philippine Archipelago, informally described as a portion of the pacific ocean sprinkled by islands.

My name is Maribel, greeting you from the Summer Capital City of the Philippines - Baguio City.

Jordan is a small country the located in the west south of Asia which we call the middle east. Jordan population is about 6.5 million people. Islam is the first religion in Jordan and the Arabic is the first language. Jordan has many tourist places such as Petra(one of the seven wondered places around the world) and the dead sea.the currency in Jordan is the denar (JD). one JD is about 1.25 American dollar, and I think one Euro is about .95 JR.

Hello to everyone! My name is Alex or just Sasha. I'm from Russia.
I have lived in Saint-Petersburg for almost 6 years and I like this city very much. It's often called Northern capital city of Russia by the way.
Russia is vast country with different climate. Really very different! It might snows in the North while people can dress lightly in the Southern parts of country.
The political government is a democracy, well at least it's presented to people like it is. The main public holidays are the New Year (1st of Jun), International Women's Day (8 of March), International Labor day (1st of May), Victory day (9th of May) and Constitution Day on 7th of October.
As for city I live I can say that it's quite huge. Population is about 5 millions. We have the underground, a lot of buses, trolleybuses, tramways, electric trains and taxies to get from one place to another. The city is overcrowded on rush-hours (espesially transport) but quite unoccupied on weekends. There is Gulf of Finland from the West and famous Neva river flows through the city with hundrieds of bridges (1st place in the world by quantity) over it.
Hope it was interesting to read. At least something of it.
Reply to this post or just write me to talk. I'll be pleased. Cheers.

The above reply was to see if it would appear in the page or if it would just reply to u :)
In Cuba we also have the International Women's Day the 8th of March and the Labor Day the 1st of May :)) haha. I think those days are from when Russia was a communist country and that CUba copied them. U know how close friends were Cuba and the URSS.
I love the URSS history a lot and all cubans learn about it in 8th grade. The class is called World History but they focus a lot in Russia before and during communist days. They also focus in communist history. Also all cubans love Lennin and there it is teach that he was a great man! haha.
Thanks for write about Russia friend.
